Carriers who have a missing or inactive authority on their DAT Account, will see a pop-up message on DAT One Web requesting their USDOT number. .
- From the red banner at the top of the screen, click UPDATE 
- Enter your DOT Number. 
- A confirmation message will appear stating that your DOT Number has been updated. Click OKto authorize your account. 
- Choose how you would like to receive the authorization code: TEXT or EMAIL. 
- The authorization code will be sent to the method you selected. Click DONE.  
- If successful, A message will appear at the bottom of the screen confirming: “Your Account Authorization is Approved.” 
- If failed, a message will appear at the bottom of the screen stating: “Your account Authorization was Denied”.
