The Company Search feature in DAT One allows a paid subscriber of DAT to search for other companies using DAT's load board. Information from the FMCSA and DAT, as well as the company themselves, can be viewed from one single location. This can help when vetting a new business partner.
The information displayed depends on whether the company is a broker, shipper or carrier. Information available includes:
- Safety (carriers)
- Authority
- Insurance
- Credit history (brokers)
- Company profile
- To find a company click on the Company Searchfeature from the menu
- In the Search box enter the company you are looking for (eg. company name, MC#, DOT#, FF#, etc) and click the Magnifying Glass. Note: Use the filters below to select a specific company type or to view companies by active/inactive authority.
- From the list of suggestions, click on the company you were looking for
- You can now view the information available for that company
